The birth of Includion

Includion was born out of the Hack the Crisis online Hackathon in the Netherlands in April, 2020 where our team began working on developing a quick solution to make the shift to remote education more structured and accessible for everyone, while making sure that education remained fun and simple. Since winning the hackathon, we have been working hard to make Includion a reality.

Our focus

At the moment we target students with Special Education Needs and Disabilities. We believe that these students struggle even more than other students who don’t have such needs. Our main focus at the moment are children with Dyslexia. We work not only with students, but also with teachers and parents to make sure that we can provide a system for the holistic development of students with learning difficulties in the near future.

How can you help?

Are you a parent or teacher of a child with Special Education Needs and Disabilities? Have you struggled during the COVID crisis? Do you have some suggestions, ideas, recommendations, stories, etc. to share with us? Would you like to support our cause in any other way? Please, email us.

Our solution

Includion creates a game that will support learning when there is learning difficulties like Dyslexia. Our first gamified teaching material includes a story about Includino. It travels around the world doing writing and reading practices with the player. The player will also meet people who has Dyslexia giving inspiring stories about how they have managed to make their professional dreams come true even with Dyslexia.
